Join us for a one-day Research Data Management (RDM) workshop co-hosted by the University of Guelph Library and Agri-Food Data Canada (ADC). This practical, hands-on session is designed for researchers, graduate students, and staff who want to strengthen their data management skills across the research lifecycle.

Participants will explore core RDM concepts and tools to improve everyday research workflows and support open, FAIR, and ethical data practices. The workshop also highlights available supports and fosters collaboration between the Library, ADC, and the broader research community. Speakers will include representatives from the Research Ethics Board, Research Security, the Research Office, the Library, and Agri-Food Data Canada.

Learning outcomes:

• Develop practical skills in research data management
• Apply FAIR, open, and ethical data principles
• Improve data organization and research workflows
• Connect with campus and national RDM support networks
• Engage with a growing community of data stewardship practice
