Lunch & Learn Information Session: "What is Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL)? In-Person

Join us for a 30-minute lunch & learn session for the SoTL curious on “What is SoTL?” to discuss foundational concepts and practical steps to engage in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Feel free to bring your lunch.

Discussion may include:

  • How does SoTL differ from scholarly teaching and other discipline-based educational research?

  • What are key characteristics of SoTL?

  • How can engaging in SoTL enhance your teaching and benefit student learning?

  • How can you get started in engaging with SoTL?

  • What are practical steps for those who are interested in learning more about SoTL or are new to conducting SoTL and want to begin a project?
