Choosing a Journal & Navigating the Peer-Review Process in a World with AI In-Person

This workshop will first cover how to choose an excellent journal for your manuscript using hands-on activities, followed by a discussion of how to successfully navigate the peer-review process. We will address the potential roles of AI in publishing, as well as ways to keep your manuscript safe when using generative AI tools. Whether you’re a grad student or an early career researcher looking to write your first journal article, awaiting feedback, or currently revising your work for re-submission, this workshop is for you.
