3MT is a university-wide competition for graduate students in which participants present their research, creative activity, and its wider impact in 3 minutes or less in an engaging, accessible, and compelling way using only one slide. It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop your public speaking skills and share your research with a broader audience.
For students interested in participating in 3MT competitions, the 2025 college heats and the university-wide 3MT competition will take place between the end of March and mid-April 2025. These details will be shared soon. For more information about 3MT, visit the Office of Graduate Studies Website. Our past UoG 3MT Champion has some advice for future 3MT participants.
