Open Scholarship Office Hours Online
These office hours will provide faculty, student, and staff researchers with an opportunity to consult Research and Scholarship librarians with questions about open scholarship and publishing. Two librarians will be present at each office hour to provide support and answer any questions about:
- Searching for and adapting OER
- Using Pressbooks
- Making research open access in the Atrium
- Creating and using research identifiers (ORCID)
- Creative Commons and copyright
- Implementing Research Data Management (RDM) practices including collecting, documenting, storing, and sharing your research data
- Developing a Data Management Plan (DMP)
- Author rights and copyright advice, including Creative Commons open licenses
- Finding and vetting open access journals and conferences
- Open access journal and publisher discounts
Each office hour runs for 2 hours and participants are encouraged to drop in at any point during the allotted time to ask their questions.
