Beginner Audio Recording and Editing with Audacity In-Person
Audacity is an open source, cross platform audio recording and editing tool. Use Audacity to record and edit a voiceover for a video or a podcast. This workshop is for anyone interested in learning about audio editing and recording with Audacity.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to
- List the requirements for a basic audio recording set-up.
- Record a short audio track.
- Practice basic editing tasks in Audacity to improve an audio recording.
Please bring a laptop to this workshop. Before the workshop, download and install Audacity onto your computer. If you have trouble, you can get help with the install ahead of the workshop or email mediastudio.lib@uoguelph.ca
