Data Skills: Advanced Data Analysis in R Online

Nowadays, basic analysis methods are sometimes not applicable, with more complicated methods being required to properly analyze your data. In this workshop, you will learn how to choose the correct analysis method for various scenarios, and conduct more advanced statistical analyses, such as:

  • Linear Regression
  • Generalized Linear Models
    • Logistic Regression
    • Ordinal Logistic Regression
    • Poisson Regression
    • Negative Binomial Regression
  • Linear Mixed-Effect Models

Prior knowledge: It is recommended (but not required) that all attendees have attended Workshop #1 - Introduction to RStudio and/or Workshop #3 - Data Analysis and Inferential Statistics in R, or otherwise have knowledge of RStudio at the level of those workshops. This is part 5 of a 5-part workshop series on RStudio.

NOTE: This workshop will be held online via Zoom. You MUST have a University of Guelph email (ending in either @guelphhumber.ca or @uoguelph.ca) to register and participate in this workshop. An email will be sent to all registered attendees 24 hours before the workshop. Registration closes 24 hours before the workshop.
