Thriving in Action: Motivation and Perseverance Online

Difficulties are a normal part of life that we all experience every semester. But that doesn't mean that they are easy to deal with! In this final Thriving in Action session, we will talk about how to persevere and stay motivated when we face difficult situations. We will discuss strategies for maintaining motivation during stressful times of the semester and identify strategies for handling feedback and for learning from previous assessments.

The Thriving in Action workshop series will help you move from languishing to flourishing throughout your time in university. Build motivation, optimism, and resilience, and learn how to integrate those skills into your work as a student. In each workshop, you will learn both wellness and learning strategies that will help you be the student you want to be. Join us for one or all five workshops and learn how to thrive.

Workshops are offered online and will be delivered via Zoom. This program is offered by the Library and Student Wellness.

All participants will be entered in a draw for one of 2 gift certificates valued at $25. Attend all five workshops, and your name will be entered five times. If you attend all five workshops, you can request a letter of recognition for your participation.
