Thriving in Action: A Mindful Approach to Academics Online

Explore how to be in and make the most of the present moment. A mindful approach can help you to pay attention to yourself and what is around you and can be directly transferred to becoming a thriving student. Learn how mindfulness strategies can be applied to planning, increasing your focus, and taking notes in lecture and from texts.  

The Thriving in Action workshop series will help you move from languishing to flourishing throughout your time in university. Build motivation, optimism, and resilience, and learn how to integrate those skills into your work as a student. In each workshop, you will learn both wellness and learning strategies that will help you be the student you want to be. Join us for one or all five workshops and learn how to thrive.

Workshops are offered online and will be delivered via Zoom. This program is offered by the Library and Student Wellness.

All participants will be entered in a draw for one of 2 gift certificates valued at $25. Attend all five workshops, and your name will be entered five times. If you attend all five workshops, you can request a letter of recognition for your participation.
