Data Skills: Data Analysis and Inferential Statistics in R Online
In this workshop you will learn how to conduct basic inferential statics that are commonly seen in the literature using R Studio. In this workshop you can expect to learn how to conduct the following statistical tests
- Independent sample t-test
- Paired Sample t-test
- One-way ANOVA
- Repeated Measures ANOVA
Prior knowledge: It is recommended (but not required) that all attendees have attended Workshop #1 - Introduction to RStudio and/or Workshop #2 - Data Manipulation and Wrangling in R, or otherwise have knowledge of RStudio at the level of those workshops. This is part 3 of a 4-part workshop series on RStudio.
NOTE: This workshop will be held online via Zoom. You MUST have a University of Guelph email (ending in either @guelphhumber.ca or @uoguelph.ca) to register and participate in this workshop. An email will be sent to all registered attendees 24 hours before the workshop. Registration closes 24 hours before the workshop.
Software / Account Requirements:
Before starting the workshop, please complete the following:
- Download and Install R
- Install RStudio Desktop
- What is R used for? Introduction to RStudio basics (5 min)
