Talk like an Academic: Presenting Your Research to a General Audience Online
This two-part workshop highlights the structure and language students can use when presenting their research to a general audience. We will use the 3MT (3-Minute Thesis) competition as a framework for this series, including how to communicate the significance of your research as well as slide design.
3MT is a nationwide competition for graduate students, and at the end of this series, students will have the skills to compete in their college's 3MT contest if they wish.
