Thriving in Action: Coping with Difficulties

The Thriving in Action Program

Join us for Thriving in Action, a new online program at the University of Guelph. Thriving in Action will help you move from languishing to flourishing throughout your time in university. Build motivation, optimism, and resilience, and learn how to integrate those skills into your work as a student. In each workshop, you will learn and practice both wellness and learning strategies that will help you be the student you want to be.  Join us for one or all four workshops this spring and learn how to thrive. Workshops are offered online and will be delivered via Zoom. This program is offered by the Library and Student Wellness.

Workshop 4: Coping with Difficulties

Difficulties are a normal part of life that we all experience. But that doesn’t mean that they are easy to deal with! In this final Thriving in Action Session, we will talk about how to cope with difficulties. You will develop skills in resilience and self-compassion as well reframe your thinking to learn from difficult situations.
