Python – Data Manipulation In-Person

Welcome to Python – Data Manipulation.

Data cleaning and manipulation usually takes up 80% of the time allotted to data analysis project. Join us for a hands-on, beginner-level workshop will introduce you how to clean your data using the world’s most popular programming language, Python. We will cover how to handle unstructured and structured data, data manipulation and cleaning tasks using Numpy and Pandas libraries. 

No programming skills are required for this workshop, just an interest and/or desire to learn. 

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Describe the importance of data cleaning 
  • Recognize the main types of faulty data 
  • Summarize the basic Python commands used for data cleaning
