Data Analysis - Intro Python In-Person

Interested in using Python but don't know where to start? Join us for a hands-on, beginner-level workshop will introduce you to the basic concepts of the world’s most popular programming language, Python. We'll cover reading-in data from an external source followed by some simple manipulation and analysis using the built-in capabilities that are provided by base Python language. 

No programming skills are required for this workshop, just an interest and/or desire to learn. 

By the end of this workshop you will be able to: 

  • Explain how to read and write files
  • Generate different formatted text and code blocks
  • Write core Python scripting elements including variables and flow control structures
