Using Qualtrics Software in the Classroom for Student Engagement In-Person
Engage and assess your students using Qualtrics. Many faculty and instructors use various student engagement software. You can use Qualtrics to create simple surveys for in-class quizzes, testing, student input, or feedback. The software is simple to use, and the data is stored and retained in Qualtrics for later reference. Qualtrics is licensed for use on campus, so there is no extra cost to the student or department.
In this workshop we will learn how to:
- Create a basic Qualtrics survey
- Use various question types
- Set up scoring for quizzes
- Set up timing, to track or control how much time is given for a question
- Access and export data to Excel or another program
- Create reports
- Create and import student lists
- Reuse previous surveys
- Find resources to learn about Qualtrics
Please bring an internet-enabled laptop or tablet to this session.
