Designing and Creating Infographics In-Person
Infographics are a unique way to organize and showcase research or complicated information. This two-hour workshop will walk you through the steps for designing and creating an effective infographic including, the role of data, graphic design principles, accessibility considerations and an introduction to free tools for creation.
After this workshop, you’ll be able to:
- Describe what an infographic is
- Articulate the role of data in story telling
- Choose appropriate chart types to present your data
- Apply graphic design principles for creating infographics
- List free tools for creating an infographic
- Apply AODA standards to infographic creation
Participants will need to bring their own device to this workshop.
