Writing in the Sciences: Improving Grammar, Punctuation, and Mechanics In-Person

This workshop series is designed to help you improve your scientific writing skills. If you’re a graduate student working on a thesis or an undergraduate student interested in graduate-level research, these workshops are for you. Register for one session or register for all six.

This session focuses on principles of grammar, punctuation, and mechanics that are of interest to students in the sciences. We discuss how to identify and correct common grammar errors, how to use punctuation more effectively, and how to avoid mechanical errors and inconsistencies.
