Writing in the Sciences: Writing Research Articles In-Person

This workshop series is designed to help you improve your scientific writing skills. If you’re a graduate student working on a thesis or an undergraduate student interested in graduate-level research, these workshops are for you. Register for one session or register for all six. 

This session focuses on the purpose, organization, and style of academic research articles in the sciences. With reference to principles of genre and move structure analysis, we discuss strategies for writing effective introduction, method, results, and discussion sections.
