Pronunciation Group: Dialogues & Expressions

This program is aimed at undergraduate & graduate students, post-doctoral students, visiting scholars/researchers, staff, and faculty with English as an additional language who would like to practice their English pronunciation and improve their communication skills for speaking English in everyday situations. Discussion of context-specific vocabulary and idioms will allow participants to create dialogues which will then be reviewed as a group for appropriate language, pronunciation and sentence stress. Participants will then practice the dialogues in class and have access to them at home for further practice.

Although it would benefit students to have participated in one or more of the other Pronunciation Groups (Sounds, Words, or Sentences) offered in the Fall and Winter semesters, it is not a requirement.

An initial enrollment of 12 students is required in order for this program to run.
