Keynote Speaker, Kelsey Merkley: Designing Equitable Foundations for Open Knowledge

Come kick off this year’s Open Access Week with our opening keynote, Kelsey Merkley. Kelsey is a Senior Policy Advisor at Ontario Digital Service and an open innovation practitioner with several years’ experience working with local, national, and global organizations. Formerly a Public Lead for Creative Commons Canada and Creative Commons South Africa, she has launched numerous community-building projects, including UnCommon Women and Open Textbooks for Africa, and is an expert in all things Open. Her talk will address this year’s OA theme, “Designing Equitable Foundations for Open Knowledge.”
