Make an Appointment -

Use the location dropdown to specify where the appointment will take place. Selecting a different location will reload the appointment dates and times that are available to be booked.
Make an appointment in 3 steps. Step 1: Select a staff member. Step 2: Select an available date. Step 3: Select an available timeslot.

With the exception of Archival & Special Collections appointments, all appointments are available only to U of G students, staff, and faculty.

Book Online Writing Appointments for support with planning, outlining, drafting, organizing, or revising your writing assignments. We also offer In-Person Writing Appointments. To receive asynchronous written feedback on a draft of your writing, book an Asynchronous Writing Feedback Appointment.

Important notes about Writing Appointments:

  • You are limited to one appointment per day and three appointments per week. Excess appointments will be cancelled.
  • Appointments are visible two weeks in advance.
  • For in-person and online appointments, please arrive on time or your appointment may be given to another student.

Writing appointments will be available within the following dates:

  • September 14, 2026 - December 18, 2026
  • January 18, 2027 - April 23, 2027
  • May 17, 2027 - August 13, 2027 (Please note: We run on a reduced schedule over the summer.)
