Jodie Salter, PhD, (she/her) has been a Writing Specialist and post-secondary educator for almost 20 years. Through one-to-one mentorship and consultation, she supports graduate student and faculty writers from a variety of disciplines on scholarly publications, thesis/dissertations, grant applications, and other forms of academic writing. She created the Dissertation Writing Retreat program for graduate students in 2011 and has been teaching this program 3X per year for over a decade. She also developed and facillitates the annual Faculty Writing Retreat, held each year in May. She creates digital teaching and learning resources and provides writing instruction for faculty across campus. She completed her PhD in Literary Studies in 2012 from the University of Guelph.
