Using Effective Writing Style

This five-part series is designed to assist undergraduate and graduate students in improving their writing for assignments and graduate theses in the sciences. In Session 3 of this series, students will improve their ability to recognize and revise stylistic problems in writing such as wordiness, lack of clarity, inappropriate verb tenses, and ineffective word choice.
