Correcting Errors in Scientific Writing

This five-part series is designed to assist undergraduate and graduate students in improving their writing for assignments and graduate theses in the sciences. In Session 4 of this five-part series, students will learn some basic skills for writing correctly in the sciences, including identifying and correcting common grammar errors; using punctuation more effectively for clarity; and avoiding mechanical errors and inconsistencies that can cause writing to appear sloppy and inaccurate.
